Youth Arts Networking Meeting for those in the Dublin Region

Networking Seminar for Youth workers/volunteers and youth arts practitioners in the Dublin Region

Time: 10-2pm (including networking light lunch)

Location: National Gallery of Ireland, Kildare St, Dublin 2.

Are you interested in meeting with your peers and colleagues and getting new ideas for arts programmes and projects with your youth groups? NYCI Youth Arts Programme is delighted to announce a networking seminar for youth workers, volunteers and youth arts practitioners in the Dublin region  on the morning of Tuesday, 4th July 2017.  We are really excited to announce that our partner for the seminar is the Education Dept of the National Gallery of Ireland who will also host the seminar.  Participants will be among the first visitors to tour the newly reopened gallery and hear about the programmes and offers the Education Dept has that could be of interest to your groups, there will be a practical funding support session from NYCI Youth Arts Programme as well as the opportunity to network with your peers over a light lunch in one of Dublin's most beautiful spaces! This seminar is free but expected to fill up quickly so book your place now with anneog@nyci.ie

Artist and Youth Work Residency Scheme - Call for Applications

The Artist and Youth Work Residency Scheme – Open for Applications!

Do you have a good idea for a youth arts project in your youth group but require the funding to work with an artist?

Applications are now invited for the Artist and Youth Work Residency Scheme programme for projects commencing in September 2017.  The scheme is managed by the National Youth Council of Ireland on behalf of the Arts Council and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs by whom it is jointly funded.

The scheme is designed to promote innovative partnerships between youth groups, artists and (where relevant) arts organisations. A residency may take the form of an artist in residence in a youth work setting and/or a youth group in residence in an arts setting.
