EXHIBIT ME!

14 JULY – 22 AUGUST / AGES 2–14

Ever wondered what it’s like to BE an artist? Now you have a chance to make – and exhibit – your work in a Dublin city centre venue. Come to The Ark and work alongside professional artist Terry O’Farrell, who will guide you and inspire you to create your very own artworks exploring the theme of FAMILY.

The experience begins in our gallery, where you will view Terry’s work. You will meet and spendtime with a ‘live’ artist, sharing stories about her family, her work, and having creative conversations to explore your own ideas of family. The Ark workshop becomes YOUR VERY OWN STUDIO as each week Terry introduces a range of exciting materials and techniques.

Each week in the workshops you can make different types of art ... or you can try them all!

CLAY SCULPTURES          14–18 JULY

CLAY PICTURES             21–25 JULY

DRAWING                       28 JULY–1 AUGUST

PLASTER                        4–8 AUGUST

CLOTH                            11–15 AUGUST

MIXED MEDIA                 18–22 AUGUST

You can have your work showcased in The Ark gallery with Terry’s work in an EVOLVING EXHIBITION, curated by Ashleigh Downey, The Ark’s Visual Arts Programmer, in collaboration with the artist. It will change each week, so keep coming back to see how it develops as hundreds of pieces are added.
