Dublin Contemporary seeks Volunteers Coordinator

Dublin Contemporary is a new large-scale visual arts exhibition taking place from September 6th until October 31st. For 8 weeks Dublin Contemporary will showcase the best of Irish and international contemporary art, emerging and established artists, in some of Dublin’s great cultural institutions as well as reinvented new locations. The Volunteers Coordinator will ensure the smooth running of a busy and developing department. The duration of the post is 1st August 1st until the 4th November 4th 2011, and salary is dependent on experience. Youth arts can broadly be defined as young people taking part voluntarily in creative, cultural or expressive activity outside of the formal education process. It can encompass participation and appreciation, as well as engagement with arts work specifically created by, with or for young people.
