Dublin Contemporary, Young Curators Inc: Get Involved

Dublin Contemporary is a large-scale exhibition which will show the work of 90 Irish and International artists from 6th September to the 3st October 2011. Would you like to find out more about what a Curator/Artist/ Educator does? Learn how a big exhibition like Dublin Contemporary is put together? Meet other young people from all over the country? Find out how art can make a difference to your life?

The Young Curators Inc. will go behind the scenes of Dublin Contemporary, meeting every week with Dublin Contemporary’s Curatorial and Educational Teams to learn about what is involved in making an art exhibition happen.

Youth arts can broadly be defined as young people taking part voluntarily in creative, cultural or expressive activity outside of the formal education process. It can encompass participation and appreciation, as well as engagement with arts work specifically created by, with or for young people.
