Hilton in the Community Foundation: Grants Available

Focusing on children and young people, the Hilton in the Community Foundation works to improve the quality of education and the provision of health care to relieve suffering and equip individuals. They have approximately £100,000 available to distribute each quarter, and applications from each of their four chosen areas will be selected or considered.

These areas include organisations working with disabled children, children in hospital, homelessness and those working with life-limited children. If favoured, grant applications for up to £10,000 can be approved by the Committee, and applications for more than £10,000 are recommended to the Trustees for final approval. There is no limit on the amount of money that a charity can request. However, the Foundation is a small charity and generally will not make awards of over £30,000 (per year). Funding can be requested for up to 2 years for any particular project. For more information visit www.hilton-foundation.org.uk

The deadline for receipt of applications is the 2nd August 2011
