International Children’s Creative Competition: ‘Fairy Tales of a Beautiful Heart’

Young people aged 4-18 are invited to participate in an international competition "Fairy Tales of a Beautiful Heart" held under the aegis of UNESCO. Children of different nations are asked to create fairy tales, paintings, photos or animations reflecting human values and ideals of peace and non-violence. As a result of the competition a book will be issued with the winning children's fairy tales and illustrations.

Youth arts can broadly be defined as young people taking part voluntarily in creative, cultural or expressive activity outside of the formal education process. It can encompass participation and appreciation, as well as engagement with arts work specifically created by, with or for young people.
