IUGTE/ ArtUniverse bursaries – ‘Theatre Between Tradition & Contemporaneity:

IUGTE and ArtUniverse have announced seven bursaries for participation in ‘Theatre Between Tradition & Contemporaneity’, an international professional conference researching the bridge between Tradition and Contemporaneity in performing arts. The bursary is €300 and covers part of the participation fee. Accommodation and meals are organized for the group. The Conference will take place in a 15th Century castle, the international educational centre in the picturesque Styria region, in the southeast of Austria. The nearest international airports are Graz and Vienna.

Who can apply? Actors, directors, choreographers, dancers, performing arts educators, teachers, musicians, singers, composers, stage designers, lighting designers, costume designers, painters, mask makers, multimedia artists, scriptwriters, playwrights, press officers, theatre critics, journalists, theatre researchers, producers and arts managers. The programme includes practical workshops, presentations, lectures, performances, works-in-progress and discussions with performing arts experts and teachers from different countries. The conference language is English and participants can receive the Certificate of Participation.
