Shine a Spotlight on Youth Work Projects!

This workshop will explore simple ways to make your youth work project visible, to make the most of the results of your projects and look at strategic ways to use your past successes to develop future projects funded through Youth in Action.

WHEN: Tuesday 6th December 2011, (9:30 – 5:00)

WHERE: St Michaels’ Youth Project – Inchicore, Dublin

FOR: Youth Workers / Leaders and Peer Leaders who have completed a project and want to make the outcomes and experiences visible. 

  • Learn how to plan your project’s results.
  • Learn how to showcase the project highlights and share experiences
  • Explore new tools, methods, and create activities to engage your young people.
  • Use your past projects to attract attention and possible access funds for future projects
  • Learn great tips and ideas for your next Youth in Action project

Lunch and Light refreshments are provided. Places are allocated on a first come basis. There is no charge for the workshop, however cancellations within 48 hours will incur a €50 fee.

Youth arts can broadly be defined as young people taking part voluntarily in creative, cultural or expressive activity outside of the formal education process. It can encompass participation and appreciation, as well as engagement with arts work specifically created by, with or for young people.
