Starbucks Shared Planet Youth Action Grants

The Starbucks Foundation solicits applications from organisations that provide young people a continuum of services in developing creative approaches to address pressing concerns in their communities. Grant size and expectations: $10,000 to $30,000(USD) on average.

Funding will be considered based on numbers of beneficiaries served, geographic reach, organisational capacity, and size of operating budget. Funding Period: Grants will be for one year. Organisations are eligible for funding for three consecutive years. After three consecutive years of funding, organisations will be asked to take a year `off` before reapplying.

The Starbucks Foundation reviews submissions on an annual basis; letters of inquiry submitted between October 1st 2011 and December 1st 2011 will be reviewed and considered for the spring 2012 grant round. Please note that we are focused on supporting organisations located in communities in which Starbucks has retail stores and we are not accepting proposals from organizations in countries where Starbucks does not have a retail presence.
