Volunteering opportunities at The Ark, Dublin
The Ark is celebrating all sorts of music this summer with Play, a music festival for children aged 2 to 12 years and their families. The programme is a combination of music workshops, concerts and electronic sound installations.
They are currently recruiting volunteers for this programme to be with the children and their families from the time they arrive into the building, assisting with getting them settled, guiding them to and through the events and helping to make sure everyone enjoys their experience. This may involve assisting the musicians in their workshops, assisting the front-of-house staff with ushering for the concerts and invigilating in the sound installation spaces. Weekend availability would be a great help. The Ark will provide full training for the duties required in relation to our programmes, as well as specialist training in their health and safety and child protection policies.
If you have an interest in the arts and in working in a child-centred environment, and you would like to join the team of volunteers, please email volunteer@ark.ie or post to Volunteer Coordinator, The Ark, 11a Eustace Street, Dublin 2.
