Youth Arts Project Officer

The Youth Arts Programme is an initiative of the National Youth Council of Ireland. The Programme is dedicated to the development and advancement of youth arts in Ireland. It aims specifically to realise the creative potential of young people through good quality arts practice within youth organisations and to develop appropriate policies and activities at local, regional and national level.

The successful candidate, as part of the programme team, will contribute to the implementation of NYCI’s Strategic Plan, the Youth Arts Work-Plan and to the future development of arts policy, advocacy and good practice within youth organisations in Ireland.

This is a part-time permanent post (21 hours per week) although it is currently benefitting from an additional hours allocation of 14 hours until December 2011. Flexible working hours apply.

Salary Scale: Project Officer Grade 1 - €32,179-€51,054 pro rata.
