Globalfest
During the month of June, Mayfield Arts Newbury House (www.mayfieldarts.org) will be hosting young volunteers from a dynamic Community arts organisation in Colombia. The outcomes of workshops and activities will be showcased at the third annual 'GLOBALFEST youth arts festival'. This is a big opportunity for youth in Cork to engage with local and global citizenship themes. This year we will be focusing on the theme of inclusion this being the European year against exclusion and poverty, along with a range of themes related to non formal learning, youth participation and active local and global citizenship.
