Youth Arts: Explore Experiment Create - Call for participants
Kildare County Council Arts Service in association with CoisCéim Broadreach invites young artists and youth arts groups aged between 18 and 25 to take part in a 3 day arts exploration event.
The multi-disciplinary arts event will take place from Friday 2nd– Sunday 4thJuly 2010 in ‘Dance Tones Studio – Newbridge Industrial estate’. For further info on the venue visit www.dancetones.org
We have limited availability at the weekend and places will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
The artistic team is Philippa Donellan from Coisceim, Peter Kelly of Film Circle and Tom Swift from The Performance Corporation.
The working art forms for the weekend will be Dance, Drama/Theatre and Film, but we welcome artists from all disciplines and backgrounds. It would be really interesting to see what a visual artist or a musician would bring to the dynamic of the weekend.
This is a really good opportunity for young artists aged 18 - 25, from any art form to come together and work and explore without the pressure of developing a product. So if you are interested in taking part, either as a group or an individual, get in touch as soon as possible as the spaces are filling up quickly.
Participants will also be given the chance to showcase their own work at the event.
The focus of the event will be on creating new work and exploring how different art forms can interact without the pressure of developing a performance or finished product.
